Special Interest Group for
Novice Photographers

The WPS will be holding monthly SIG
meetings specifically for those members who want to learn or review the basics.

The meetings will be held at the Ligonier Town Hall on the first
Thursday of each month, from 7-9PM in room A.

Participants can expect to learn how to take advantage of their individual camera’s functions, the basics of correct exposure and focus, how to compose an image for artistic effect, how to get an image from camera to computer, and basic photo processing. This will be accomplished through hands on instruction and discussion with experienced members of the WPS, fieldtrips, computer demonstrations, speakers and other activities.

Participation will be limited to 20 people and preregistration is required.

Attendees must be members of the WPS. Dues are $25 per year for adults, $15 for students and $25 + $10 for each additional member for families and may be paid at the meeting.
